How much does it cost to test and diagnose?

A test and diagnosis costs AUD $120. Please note shipping is at the customer’s expense.

How long does it take to repair?

Most of the time testing & repairs are completed within 1 to 3 days but occasionally a major repair might take a little longer (up to 3 weeks). All repairs are fully traceable so up to date information is always available.

What can we repair?

PLCs, HMIs, Variable Speed Drives, Servo Motors, and other automation or sensing equipment. We’ve got a very talented team of engineers & technicians so chances are we’ll be able to get you out of trouble in no time.

Where do I send items for repair?

Before sending in your repair, make sure you’ve filled out our RMA request form!

Once you’ve confirmed your repair with our repairs department, address your item to:

What sort of guarantee do I get on repairs?

All 4D Controls repaired or replaced products are covered by a 2 year warranty.

What are the different product conditions?

Disclaimer: The term “new” is solely used to indicate that NSS, NSO, and NNB products have not been previously used. “New” DOES NOT signify that the products are provided directly from a manufacturer. 4D Controls is not affiliated with or authorised by the manufacturer to act as a reseller or distributor of these products unless explicitly stated. All 4D products, under any of the following conditions, do not fall under the manufacturer’s warranty.

NSS – New Surplus Sealed
NEW in original factory sealed packaging, but the packaging may have markings, signs of discolouration or wear with an older date code and/or required firmware or hardware revision.

NSO – New Surplus Open
NEW in original factory packaging but the packaging was opened or the factory seal is missing (if applicable) or may be in replacement packaging. Packaging may have markings, signs of discolouration or wear. These items are NEW and are unused but may be an older version or design.

NNB – New No Box
The product has not been put into service but is repackaged in 4D Controls packaging. NNB may not include manual(s) or other accessories normally supplied when buying NSS or NSO. Products in this category may be part of an older series, style, weathered, or discoloured.

UPP – Used in 4D Controls Packaging
The product has been previously used but has been tested by our technicians prior to shipment. The product is packaged in 4D Controls packaging, but may not come with documentation and accessories normally supplied with new products.
